These are the best tacos I have *ever* had in my 23 almost 24 years of existing. Oh. My goooooood. Sssooo good. Packing in flavor and wonderfully cooked. Good portion sizes. I got the special steak and chorizo tacos. My husband tried a bite and wanted more but maybe next time babe.
I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK. many many times. -

Don't bother! No A/C!!!???!!! This is a to-go kind of place. Not a dine-in.
We stopped in based on recent Yelp reviews and there were only 2 guys in front of us to order. Easy, right?
But then the knowledgeable lady left the counter and put someone else up there to take orders and everything came to a halt!
She took long to-go orders on the phone as we melted in the heat waiting to place our order. Then she took the guys in front of us and another to-go order on the phone.
After 15 minutes, when it finally came to our turn to order she ran off to make the previous guys drinks! Ugh!
At the counter, I found out they don't put melted cheese dip on their nachos!?! Everything is charged separately, so if I order nachos and want cheese dip and salsa with it, all are separate orders.
A single can of Diet Coke was $2!?! In this heat, three cans each would be needed. No soda machine. No refills.
We were given a hand-written ticket and told to pay later. What?
We we sitting in front of the portable A/C, still sweating and miserable: we had to bail.
Terrible service. Overpriced food. Miserable eating environment. -

Stick with El Asador... this place was not good. I Would not recommend unless all other Mexican restaurants are closed.
EDIT:
(After the owner wrote me)
Their food is ok.. my preference was el asador. But feel free to go where you like.
This is just my opinion. -

I LOVE THIS PLACE! If you're expecting plush carpet and fancy decor then stay away! But if you're looking for authentic Mexican food- then you're at the right place. On this visit I got the beef nachos- enough for two people- piled with cheese. Beans, beef ,salsa and homemade guacamole. DELICIOUS. Two choices for sauce- hot ( which really has a bite) or mild. Try them both.

This may be a good located place floor the surrounding area on Pensacola Blvd. I will not eat here again. They used to be on Navy Blvd which old man made good eggs w potatoes, place peas better , appeared cleaner, but I had to stop eating the too. The personnel are ok, not very , just cut & dry, business, unless perhaps your a continous customer. refried beans were not good, best of my order was the rice. No chix taco, but they can serve chix enchiladas. Overall place good for others, not me , I'll pay the money , not here and I got no chips-salsa. Other places I get with my order to go. This little pricey for places, since food not great. others told me not too, but I wanted to try again.
